Elements of the Shopping Cart - Item Information

The Shopping Cart is where all of the details of your shopping session are collected, including a summary of information on the items you are about to purchase. Click on any of the following links to learn more:

Sellers

Xumbay.com brings together sellers and buyers in an on-line marketplace with all of the functionality and organization of a structured catalog. When you place an order, the items within your order may come from multiple sellers. The shopping cart shows each seller and the items you are buying from that seller. In addition, a seller subtotal is provided for each seller.


Title or Product Name

The title of the item. For books this also includes the author. 

Format

For books, format includes paperback or hardcover. 

Quality

Sellers rate the quality of every item listed for sale at Xumbay.com. To ensure a high seller rating as well as buyer satisfaction, the seller agrees to rate the quality of listed items fairly and honestly, according to the item rating guidelines we provide.


Order Summary

The Order Summary provides the total price and shipping cost for the entire order. This information is automatically updated as items are added or removed and as shipping options are changed.

There are several changes you can make to the items in your Shopping Cart. Click on any of the following links to learn more:

Removing items from the Shopping Cart

Items can be removed from your Shopping Cart at any time. Simply click the 'Remove from Cart' link under the item you wish to remove.


Moving items to your Wish List

Clicking the "Move to Wish List" link will remove the item from the Shopping Cart and add it to your Wish List. The Wish List allows you to specify the price and quality for the item you are looking for. We will send you an email as soon an item becomes available that matches your price and quality specifications.


Checkout Options

Checkout will ask for verification for both the credit card and shipping information. Xumbay.com asks you to verify your password and user name to ensure privacy and security!


Changing the Shipping Method

If a seller offers more than one shipping method, the 'Change Shipping Method' link will appear beneath the item and shipping costs. Click the 'Change Shipping Method' link to specify a different shipping method for the item. Please note that changing the shipping method will change the Shipping & Handling total in the Order Summary.


Find another one

Within the Shopping Cart, you can click 'Find another one' to go back to the Item Detail page for the item you are looking for. From here, you can select more of the same item!
